Total E&P Syrie support the 3rd Sulhi Wadi contest “lute” for young talent 2011, which will begin on Sunday evening at the Opera House
on Sunday, the tenth of this month, started events of 3rd lute contest for young talent organized by the Institute of Sulhi Wadi performing of music in Damascus with the support of Total E&P Syrie .
Lute players the creators of the Syrian youth are interested in the competition and receive all the performers this machine who are under 18 years.
The competition will be opened by Juane Qrjuli in eighth O’clock on Sunday, at Assad House for Culture and Arts / Opera Damascus / contest will end on 12 July on the Institute of Sulhi Wadi theater in Afif area in Damascus
Total E&P Syrie supports the “Lute Competition” started in 2007 with its first edition, to encourage young talented musicians and improve their professional capacities
The success of the competition and the associated artistic benefits has encouraged the continuation of Total E&P Syrie partnership with “Sulhi Al Wadi Musical Institute” for the last four year until the present time.
Over the past several years and within its Corporate Social Responsibility policy, Total E&P Syrie focused its local development activities to supporting the development of human assets in Environment, Health, Education, Capacity Building, Local Economic Development and Cultural Heritage.
Total E&P Syrie acts as a responsible partner in these areas through participating in implementing a number of projects around Syria and especially in Deir Ez Zor region. To guarantee sustainability, these
projects are planed and implemented in cooperation with the different stakeholders including local authorities, local communities and international organizations working in Syria
the Institute of Sulhi Wadi of music was established in 1961 under the name of the Arab Institute of Music and the duration of the study in which between 5-11 years depending on the talent and potential of the student and accepted students in the age of seven and the Institute began the competition in 2007 at the level of Syria, then decided to hold it on the international level to encourage young talent and promote musical abilities and to maintain the eastern style of music but at the level of melody or musical instrument
