The aim of drilling the well is to build a better understanding of the extension of the east for the installation of field al-Shaer and ensure the spread of footnote oil on the eastern outskirts of it and get the oil in commercial quantities from a tank range Alchorashina dolomite belonging to the age of Triassic East, which has proved its presence in the west of the field by drilling wells al-Shaer (105 – 111-112).
