Israel allows for Noble drilling for gas in the new site

Israel gave the green light to Noble Energy, U.S. to drill in a new location in Loeattan marine fields of natural gas. It seems that the decision contained in the statement of the Ministry of infrastructure, an effort to achieve more of the reserves in one of the largest offshore fields in the world

The statement said that Israel “has allowed the company Noble Energy, digging at the site of Loeattan 3 within the field of Loeattan.”

The company has stopped the Nobel last month excavation at the site of a second, known as the Loeattan 2 after detecting a water leak from the well hole.

The statement said that Israel will continue to monitor the site for Loeattan 2 and consider the possibility of closing.

The fields for Loeattan located 130 kilometers off the port of Haifa overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The exploration group says it is the largest natural gas fields in deep water are discovered during the past ten years.
