Syrian ِAssociation for Occupational Safety hosted Training for risk assessment

Syrian ِAssociation for Occupational Safety hosted Training for risk assessment in 1 to 2 June 2011 in the Associations Training building . The course aims to give workers the skills needed to assess the risks within the workplace and give them a Level 1 Certificate in risk assessment of the Syrian Society for the protection of a professional.

this session is for everyone is responsible for risk assessment in the workplace, supervisors and department heads in institutions, companies and the owners of the pilot projects and participants can identify the risks and types and forms, and how to identify these risks and control for the success of their project in an easy way.

The course included an overview on the history of risk and danger and the difference between the notifier and the need for risk assessment in addition to the types of hazards at work and forms, risk identification and risk assessment steps with Practical Examples

SAOC is taken up by the decision of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs No. (2156) The date of 28/07/2009 and addresses of activity throughout the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic, and aims to maintain the safety of workers and limit the access of injuries and accidents at work, and dissemination of awareness of occupational safety, and work on raise cultural awareness of occupational safety for all levels, and provide a safe working environment and appropriate, as well as to keep pace with scientific progress in the safety of workers in all areas.
