Shareholders Committee of Deir Ezzor Petroleum Company held its annual meeting at the headquarters of Deir Ezzor in Damascus on 26/5/2011. The committee was briefed on what has implemented the company’s plans during the year 2010 and reviewed the plan year 2011.

The Committee heard the report of the external auditor and approved by the discharge of the members of the Board of Directors for the prior period to 2010. He thanked the gentlemen shareholders of Directors of Deir al-Zour oil and its employees for good performance for the year 2010 and wished them success in maintaining high performance for the year 2011.

Board of Directors of Deir Ezzor held its seventy in Damascus on 27/4/2011, chaired by Dr. Eng. Firas Qaddour President of the Board and attending members of the Board of Directors of both the Syrian and French. They discussed the agenda that focuses on the activities of the company in relation to health and safety and the environment, and processes Technical Company of geological studies and drilling and follow-up projects are being implemented in addition to discussing the company’s business in the area of administrative and financial affairs.

Deir Ezzor Company is a joint venture between Total E&P Syrie and GPC which operates company since 1988, while operating privilege of Deir Ezzor which is currently producing about 27,000 barrels per day.

the company oil has got ISO 14001 certificate for the year 2004 in line with international standards for environmental management systems, the first oil company in Syria gain this certificate.
