The Minister of Electricity said in a statement that the new ministry projects under implementation need to more than 10 million cubic meters of gas per day in addition to projects related like installing pipelines and plants to organize and measure the gas and others.

He added .. That new generation projects distributed on the plant expansion Deir Ali and the establishment of Deir Ezzor , which that needed each day about 2.3 million cubic meters of gas and expand the station October that you need for about 5.2 million cubic meters and the expansion of plant gender to about 5.1 million cubic meters.

He explained that the plants need more than the current daily to 30 million cubic meters of gas, pointing to the adoption of new generation projects on gas by more than its dependence on fuel where some fuel to the generating sets for reasons of design.
