Eng. Sufian Allaw Minister of Oil and mineral Resources discussed with the President with the Board of Directors southern Iranian Chemical ARIA Vosvk Company Mr. Raza Thbar and his accompanying delegation asked the company to purchase 400 thousand tons of phosphate Syrian washed during this year.

Allaw expressed the Ministry’s approval on the sale of the company 20 thousand tons of experimental shipment with the possibility to increase according to the abundances that the General Company for Phosphate and Mines is committed to exportation contracts with several countries for this year, pointing out that in the event of surplus production this year will be provided with the required quantity.

The minister said the ministry is ready to sign a contract with the company in this regard for the year 2012 and the required amounts.

Syria and India signed in October a memorandum of understanding to develop the sector, phosphates and fertilizers for the production of phosphoric acid and phosphate fertilizers to meet the different needs of both the Syrian and Indian peoples.
