Allaw is renamed as petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister

President Bashar Assad on Thursday issued decree No. 146 stipulating the formation of the new government in the Syrian Arab Republic premiered by Dr. Adel Safar as follows and Eng. Sufian Allaw remains as petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister.

Allaw was born in 1964 in abu Kamal .. he has a license in Mechanichal and Electric Engineering in Aleppo in 1966.

-an engineer in Comminucation Establishment 1966/1967
- Director of establishment investment in General Establishment for Euphrates Dam 1967/1980
-Engineer In Irrigation Minister 1980/1983
-Engineer in Primer Office for Energy Affairs 1983/1984
-Energy Minister Assistant 1984/2004.
-Expert in State Planning Body in 2004/2005

-Expert in Energy Department in West Asia Economic and Social Committee (ASCO) in 2004 till he was assigned as Petroleum Minister in late Government.
He is married and has 4 boys and a girl .
