SIPC’s Celebration of NATIONAL TREE DAY with collaboration of local activities in Khahtania – Al-Kameshli

SIPC celebrated the National Tree Day in Oudeh Field by planting more than 300 trees and shrubs in Kahtanihya village, Al-Kameshli, with the participation of governmental activities and public volunteers.
The event took place on December 30, 2010 in cooperation between SIPC together with Al-Hassakeh Mayor and local sectors. It aims at providing Al-Kameshli, Kahtanihya citizens with an opportunity to do something good for their community and the environment through National Tree Day.
Local dignitaries were on site to plant trees and shrubs in the boulevards and along the sidewalks of the main street of Kahtanihya.
It is worth mentioning that SIPC provided and distributed a considerable number of trees to the community in the previous years which made the boulevards of the main streets in Kahtanihya now filled with vegetation.”
SIPC thanked all those who took part, volunteered, and orchestrated lending a hand in tree planting in the National Tree Day.
SIPC is a subsidiary company of the Chinese SINOPEC. It’s an operator with GPC through Oudeh Petroleum Company (OPC) to develop Oudeh and Tishrine fields in Al-Hassakeh
