Siniora: Iraq is ready to sell oil at preferential rates to Lebanon

Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Siniora Said that the Iraqi government showed willingness to approve the sale of quantities of oil to Lebanon at preferential prices.
Siniora added in a joint press conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki during his visit to Baghdad after talks that lasted hours, studying the details of how Lebanon’s cooperation with Iraq on oil companies.
Siniora, who arrived in Baghdad heading a High Lebanese ministerial delegation to the Wednesday said that this cooperation will be translated through workshops to pave the way for the benefit of both countries.
Al-Maliki said that the trade exchanges and common interest in the areas of trade and economic and oil for the benefit of both countries, Iraq will provide Lebanon with oil in accordance with the agreements between the two sides.
He expressed the readiness of Iraq to provide protection to investors Lebanese Hello any investments from Lebanon in his country.
