Powered by Total E&P Syrie … 94 micro-projects benefited from the services of «Target Center- al-Hadaf» in 2010

Ahmed bin Makki, Director of Target Centre –al-Hadaf for micro projects Support has been launched by the European Foundation for Cooperation and Development, in collaboration with the State Planning Body with financial support from Total E&P Syrie and the French Development Agency: The number of beneficiary during 2010 amounted to 94 beneficiaries.

 He pointed out that beneficiaries have undergone training in different areas specialized management and organization of work in micro projects, which included the towns of Deir Al-Zour and al-Mayadeen in its first stage and are currently working to cover the rest of the cities of the province through the plan in 2011 which includes all areas of the province where it has established a mobile unit for this. The center was to provide all equipment necessary for training and the goal this year is to achieve 120 beneficiaries at least as it will be in the coming days to provide a service (Club owners of small enterprises), which will provide technical support through technical consultations and workshops with business people and specialists in the areas of investment and marketing in addition to providing Internet services and the library of specialized topics in micro-enterprise development, time management, marketing, accounting and planning will also provide accounting service by using the computer where the program is designed Accountants effective for this purpose will be trained entrepreneurs to use and is provided for free.

He pointed out Bin Makki that during the second half of this year will provide training service for those wishing to start their small projects through the establishment of workshops in the colleges of the University of the Euphrates and the grass-roots organizations.

He added that all these services and programs have been modified to suit the nature of economic activity in the province of Deir al-Zour.

Target ‘al-Hadaf ‘ Center Project for Training and Micro Projects development in Deir al-Zour has been opened in  August 2009 in cooperation between Total E&P Syrie .. and State Planning Body, UNDP.

Suheir Shaheen Head of Sustainable Development Department in Total E&P Syrie said that Aim Project Intersects with many of the Company projects that Total finance in Deir al-Zour like Innovation and Project Development Center, Professional Training Center, Microcredit project with Bedaia Establishment and East pioneers By SYEA.

She added that this project is under the companies programs about Sustainable Developments that started since 2003 in Health, Education, Environment, Cultural heritage preservation and local developments sectors that help in developing of business sector and human resources building.
