Shell and AFPC, Total and Deir Ezzor oil celebrates Arab Environment Day in Qara

In collaboration with Syria Shell for oil development and Al-Furat Petroleum Company and Total E&P Syrie and the oil company of Deir Ezzor , Qara City celebrate Arab Environment Day with the opening of the park environment in in the presence of the representative Member of Executive office for Environmental Affairs in the province of Damascus and the President of the Municipal Council of Qara and the Secretary of the Division party.
Ceremony Also was attended by Trustees of the party and the Director of the town point and the representative of the Red Crescent in Qara , and members of the local council and the participation of the activities of official bodies and organizations and civil associations.
Dr. Anwar Al-Hajji Director of Qara Hospital pointed to the importance of environmental awareness in the community and the concerted efforts of government agencies and private associations of the civil society in the preservation of the environment and work to reduce the factors of damage to the environment, noting that the opening of the park environment in Qara is the result of these efforts to serve the community local levels.

Mr. Adel Dahdal Director of Health, Safety and Environment at Deir ez Zor oil representative of the oil companies operating in Syria, gave a presentation on the activities of four oil companies, in the area contribute to the dissemination of environmental awareness and preservation of the environment. Stressing the desire of the oil companies to achieve a high level in performance and production according to global standards for safety, health and the environmentIn addition to providing support for environmental projects and NGOs working in this area.

Syria Shell ,AFPC, Total E&P Syrie and Deir Ezzor for Oil the provide a number of development projects such as seminars and awareness campaigns and environmental activities and the draft road safety in primary schools and the other raising the level of knowledge in the community to protect the environment.
