Al-Braidi and Khalaf win OAPEC 2nd scientific award for 2010

Al-Baath University in Homs honored Dr. Musab al-Din al-Baraidi OAPEC 2nd scientific Award winner on the theme “The results of the application of modern technologies in the Oil exploration and production in Arab countries and their economic revenues ” for the year 2010, which jointly awarded with Dr Khaled Khalaf from the Directorate of fields Aljbsah in the Syrian Petroleum Corporation .

Dr. Amer Fakhouri, President of al-Baath University indicated to the importance of government support to researchers in order to encourage them to enrich the research and development, indicating that the award he received for his research report mailing address through the use of any chemical injection ICB to increase the oil displacement factor in the field of Dero Syria.

Al-Baraidi noted to the efforts made by al- Baath University, promotion and sponsorship of the scientific potential of new ideas and support possible for them to follow the march of science.

The OAPEC Award dates back to 1985 where adopted by the Council of Ministers of the Organization to promote scientific research in the field of petroleum and energy industries, a regional organization of specialized international character of the Arab oil producers in order to activate cooperation between them and the development of the petroleum industry.
