People’s Assembly Approves General State Budget for Fiscal Year 2011 with a total sum of SYP 835 billions
Syrian People’s Assembly on Monday approved a law including the general state budget for the fiscal year 2011.
The law consists of 27 articles specifying the approbations and revenues of the general state budget for the fiscal year 2011 with a total sum of SYP 835 billions (1USD=46 SYP).
During a session chaired by the Assembly’s Speaker Dr. Mahmoud al-Abrash, the Assembly called upon the Government to present its program with regard to supplying citizens with oil subsidies soonest possible through forming specialized committees at the Ministry of Finance.
Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) indicated that the law of the budget consists of 27 articles that set the appropriations and revenues of the state budget for fiscal year 2011, the total amount of $ 835 billion Syrian pounds.
According to the budget, the total current appropriations and estimated investment of public bodies of administrative and economic reach 2564.7 billion SP, and be of the current appropriations specific points of administrative overhead, and investment allocations as specific points of the general administrative and economic development, 835 billion lira, with an appropriation of ongoing uses for the estimated points of public economic 1729.7 billion SP.
The budget allocated 54.5 percent of the current appropriation, ie about 455 billion SP, while 45.5 percent of credits allocated investment to be a 380 billion.
General budget for 2011 increases by 11 percent from the year 2010 appropriations, which was estimated at 754 billion SP.
