In a welcome speech brief provided by Mr. Mahdi Sajjad thank especially, on behalf of the Board of Directors of the company and its employees on the continuum of care from the Ministry of Oil noting the r special elationship and genuine partnership between Gulf Sands and the General Organization for Petroleum and the Syrian Oil Company since the start of excavations in 2005, thanks in advance also for workers in the company Gulfsands .

Sajjad said that his company plans to drill new exploratory six wells in 2011 and will participate in a tender of eight new blocks announced by the Ministry of Oil.

The announcement was made during the ceremony from the termination of Streptococcus preparations to sign a contract of permanent station for production with the Italian company Saipem global note that the plant will be ready in the second half of 2012 and can initial 33 thousand barrels of oil / day.
