Eng. Sufian Alao minister of oil and mineral resources said that Syria and Turkey tend to set up joint venture for power and the two countries are seeking to found joint nuclear power generation

Alao added to Anadoul news agency that the two countries will announce in the few coming days launching of joint venture for power as a part of plan between Syria and Turkey to rummage for oil in the two and other countries.
In the last Arab Turkish economic meeting minister introduces the possibility of cooperation between the two countries in the nuclear power fields as well as set up a joint nuclear station for generating electricity in the future.
Mr.Helmi Gouler power Turkish minister on his side announced that his country is discussing with Syria and Iraq possibility of drill natural gas from the Iraqi fields of Akas.
He revealed plans for gas transport through pipelines parallel with Karkouk Umortalic pipeline indicated to triple discussions with Turkey, Syria and Iraq to pull out and using gas of Akas fields.
Gouler added that trends for establishing first nuclear station in Turkey is still open for Arab companies to introduce their offers.
