Kawkab oil company marks the completion of two years without any accident and to achieve 6.25 million work hours without injury

Kawkab Oil Company Celebrated on Tuesday, 02.11.2010 complete two years without any accidents as of 20/10/2010 and the achievement of 6.25 million work hours without injury at the time that it has completed processing 117 oil pollution site is fully under way to address environmental built on the experiences of Field and the same time is economical and based at its own potentials.

Safety award was presented to Messrs. Ahmed Moalla , former Chairman and Chairman-designate Abdul Rahman Abdullah, by Mr. Jia Yong, vice president of CNPC World Chinese in a ceremony attended by company directors of Kawkab and was attended by the company staff.

Dr. Moalla , Yang and Abdullah gave speeches in the celebration and briefed the history of operations of the company.

At the end of the ceremony the vice president of the CNPC thanked company’s management for this achievement and stressed that the Kawkab tops the list of SNPC companies operating in the world of excellence in the field of occupational safety and the environment in addition to achievements in the fields of drilling, production and management of the reservoir where is an example of “fruitful and constructive cooperation between the Governments of the Syrian Arab Republic and the People’s Republic of China ..
