Oil Minister discussed with the Russian ambassador importance of expediting the completion of a project gas plant north of the region of Central and renewed his call for Russian companies to participate in announced tenders and requests for proposals .

Oil Minister Eng. Sufian Allaw discussed with the Russian ambassador in Damascus Sergei Kerbychenko relations of cooperation between the two countries in the field of oil and gas, especially that related with the importance of accelerating the accomplishment of a gas processing plant in the north central region which is implemented by Russian Story Trans Gas.

The two sides as well as discussed the participation of Russian companies specialized in the request for proposals closed to prospecting and exploration for oil and gas in eight blocks, a new addition to the cooperation in improving the productivity of old fields by using the production techniques of subsidized oil.
