Syrian gas company signed a contract with Russian gas Stroy Trans gas to extend gas pipelines in the key hand of Aleppo to the Syrian-Turkish border.
Eng. Sufian Allao Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources was briefed the operation of the ways to accelerate the achievement gas plant in the southern central region located some 40 km south-east of Homs.

Eng. Sufian Alao Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources said the Egyptian gas line has started to flow into Syria through the Arab Gas Pipeline to Deir Ali Station, south of Damascus.
Eng. Sufian Alao minister of oil and mineral resources visited the novel gas factory in south of central region and Abu –rabah station for gas production in east of Freqles town where the Russian Story Transgas Company is implementing the project with assistance of Syrian Lead Company.
Eng. Sufian Alao minister of oil and mineral resources said during his meeting with his Egyptian counterpart Eng. Sameh Fehmi that cooperation between the two countries in oil area go steadily.
Eng. Naim Danhish project manager of Arab-European gas market said that the preparation of feasibility study for the final phase of the Arab Gas Pipeline, which will stretch for about 320 metres from the Al Rayyan to calcification of the Turkish border via Aleppo and from there will be linked to the Turkish gas network and then to the gas market in EU in the West and Iran a possible gas provider in the east.
