Local Administration sets conditions that must be provided for the licensing of petrol stations
Ministry of Local Administration and Environment set conditions to be provided during the licensing of petrol stations that the Commission services in Syrian cabinets have recently agreed on.
Mahroukat granted about 120 licenses during three months for establishing petrol stations.This step came after the Services Commission in Syrian cabinet approved in ters to allow the establishment of these stations after a break of five years.
Syrian Minister of Local Administration and Environment Hilal al-Atrash was issued resolution No. 211 set the conditions to be provided in the fuel stations, which are classified as Class III industries, allowing the fuel stations to be set up outside the campus of the direct road and out of a protection in accordance with the provisions of the Act 26 of 2006.
Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Abdullah Dardari revealed that Syrian Government will review the policies as energy derivatives committee in the cabinet was formed for this purpose and based Committee to the general principle on this issue is to fix the prices of oil derivatives in Syria at world prices.
Jordanian government reduced the prices of major oil derivatives on Sunday 14/12 with rates ranging between 4.5 and 17.4%, while the average reduction of all derivatives per 17.2%.
Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources, decided to reduce the prices of 15 kinds of mineral oils by 15% due to lower demand as a result of stagnation in the sale of material . Ministry also decided to raise the prices of fuel at the beginning of this month, from 6 thousand SP. to nine thousand SP. per ton.
Eng. Sufian Allao Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources said that decline in oil prices will not affect the price of the sale of petroleum products in Syria because prices are still low compared with markets of the world.
What has not been able to do tight security on both sides of the Lebanese-Syrian border to prevent smuggling of diesel fuel, prices imposed locally, has reduced the smuggling of fuel oil from Syria by 90 percent affected by lower world oil prices to below60 $, becoming the cost of plate Diesel in Lebanon less than the cost of plate after being smuggled.
